Hi! I work with plants professionally and it’s the greatest job I’ve ever had with the worst boss I’ve ever had. I’ve come to the conclusion I have to leave and it’s heartbreaking. I don’t want to but I can’t keep crying my way home. So, I managed to get off my depressed ass and do plant chores on about half of my 300+ plant collection. Just need someone who doesn’t have to tell me good job to tell me good job.

I would love to spend time in this plant oasis. It’s so inviting. Love the Pyrex, too! I recently had a horrible boss and I left and now I have a terrific boss. Keep your options open and don’t let your current boss make you feel less than—they are the insecure bully.

Horrible bosses truly suck the joy out of every day and can really knock your self esteem. So crucial to remember it’s not forever. Bad jobs are only good for one thing- QUITTING. Take what you love from this job and use that as the blueprint for what you find next! Days are too long, and life is too short to deal with bad bosses!!

Keeping 300+ plants alive when you barely have the energy for yourself is a monumental task. You’re doing great! Make sure you’re treating yourself kindly
All of your plants look happy and healthy, I can tell that you take very good care of them. Taking care of plants can be good therapy and help with focus but eventually you will run out of space for anymore plants and realize that you need to water yourself so that you too can be happy and healthy. This is coming from a fellow depressed and overstimulated plant parent. Best wishes.

What’s the bird of paradise lookin thing that also kinda looks like a philo in the first pic? Your palms also look super happy. All the best, a shitty boss is the worst thing ever when you’re giving them what you consider a lot of effort. Especially if you have anxiety or general self doubt and social issues. Took me almost my entire life to learn that at age 40.
I’m sure you’ll find a better situation. Fresh start, and take what you learned from the last spot with you and learn from the shitty stuff on how you never would run a business or treat other humans.
